Disney Cruise Line\u2019<\/a>s newest ship will sail out of Fort Lauderdale by the end of 2027, the company announced during a livestream event Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Disney Believe<\/a>, the cruise line\u2019s fourth Wish-class ship, will make its maiden voyage on Dec. 18, 2027, to sail four- and five-night itineraries to destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean. General on-sale bookings are available starting Oct. 19.<\/p>\n

During the theatrical announcement livestreamed from the Disney Wish<\/a>, the Believe\u2019s onboard storytellers Beatrice and Hugo revealed a Frozen-themed dinner show, themed lounges and main stage shows<\/a> based on \u201cTangled<\/a>\u201d and \u201cEncanto<\/a>.\u201d Disney Cruise Line also unveiled a tower suite inspired by the Magic Kingdom<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The company previously revealed at D23<\/a> that a bronze statue of Moana will serve as the focal point of the ship\u2019s Grand Hall. During that time, the cruise line also noted that Buzz Lightyear and Woody will appear on the vessel\u2019s stern and Tinker Bell will decorate the bow.<\/p>\n

\nThe Grand Hall<\/p>\n

Beyond the statue of Moanna, the Grand Hall will be an \u201carchitectural meeting of the sea and sky\u201d inspired by the Pacific Islands. Ocean hues can be found on the carpet, while the ceiling is scattered with constellations. The railings are inspired by designs in Moana\u2019s skirt and the chandelier is modeled after the \u201cocean\u2019s fluid movement.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mainstage shows<\/p>\n

\u201cTangled: The Musical\u201d was unveiled as one of the mainstage shows aboard the Believe, featuring \u201call new special effects and set designs.\u201d As part of the announcement, actor Susan Egan<\/a> \u2014 the godmother of Disney Destiny<\/a> who voiced Megara in \u201cHercules\u201d \u2014 came on stage to sing \u201cWhen Will My Life Begin.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lin-Manuel Miranda appeared by video message to share the news that the first stage adaptation of \u201cEncanto\u201d will debut exclusively on the Disney Believe in the Walt Disney Theater. Adassa<\/a>, the voice of Dolores Madrigal in the animated film, was joined on stage by Broadway performers Arielle Jacobs, Bradley Gibson and Jacob Dickey to perform a medley of songs from the film.<\/p>\n

On the Disney Believe, the tropical landscape and cultures of Colombia will shine through the production\u2019s costumes, set design and dance styles.<\/p>\n

\nA new dinner show<\/p>\n

A new, \u201cuntold\u201d chapter in the \u201cFrozen<\/a>\u201d story takes place at Oaken\u2019s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, a new restaurant and dinner show coming to the Disney Believe. The setting transports diners to a Scandinavian Summerhaus courtyard with reimagined tunes from \u201cFrozen\u201d and special appearances throughout the experience.<\/p>\n

Venues for all ages<\/p>\n

Disney Believe features a broad slate of new venues for dining, drinking and entertainment geared toward cruise passengers of all ages.<\/p>\n

The Wishing Well lounge is inspired by the 1937 animated film, \u201cSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs<\/a>.\u201d The space has three distinct settings, including a gothic castle theme at the bar, an enchanting castle courtyard with white blossoms and red apples in the seating area and a performance area with hand-carved wood framing.<\/p>\n

Gazelle is a new multi-story entertainment hub inspired by the \u201cZootopia\u201d films. By day, the venue will host guests of all ages before switching to adults-only entertainment by night.<\/p>\n

Guests with a sweet tooth can visit \u201cInside Out: Joyful Sweets,\u201d featuring sculptures from \u201cInside Out 2\u201d and a selection of signature treats including 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream.<\/p>\n

Coffee lovers can get their caffeine fix at Big Hero Sips and Caf\u00e9 Kakamora, inspired by \u201cBig Hero 6\u201d and \u201cMoana,\u201d respectively.<\/p>\n

Just off the Grand Hall, guests can enjoy a piano lounge called Sea Notes inspired by \u201cThe Little Mermaid\u201d with a \u201cpearlescent piano\u201d at the center of the space. The menu will feature craft cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.<\/p>\n

An observatory-themed pub called Skygazers will make its debut on the Disney Believe with astronomical instruments, celestial maps and nods to classic Disney stories. The space features craft brews, specialty cocktails and light bites.<\/p>\n

\nNew stays<\/p>\n

Staterooms aboard the Disney Believe feature artwork invoking characters and stories like \u201cMoana,\u201d \u201cCoco\u201d and \u201cInside Out.\u201d At the Concierge level, guests will find theming inspired by \u201cPeter Pan\u201d and several special rooms with the spirit of \u201cToy Story.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ship will be home to two new royal suites: the Royal Reef Suite themed after \u201cThe Little Mermaid\u201d and the Royal Rose Suite, inspired by \u201cBeauty and the Beast.\u201d<\/p>\n

Exclusive to the new vessel is the two-story Believe Tower Suite, which sleeps eight inside the forward funnel and draws inspiration from the Magic Kingdom. Each room is modeled after a different themed land and features unique elements from the park such as fireworks- and balloon-inspired light fixtures.<\/p>\n

Returning favorites<\/p>\n

1923 and Worlds of Marvel both return to the Disney Believe as main dining venues after making their debut on previous Wish-class ships. On the upper decks, guests will find Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods, an open-air food court with themed food stalls. Exclusively on the Disney Believe, cruisers can try the new Pluto\u2019s Pita Platters with a Mediterranean-inspired menu.<\/p>\n

The popular Haunted Mansion Parlor, a \u201cfully immersive bar\u201d inspired by the Disney Parks attraction, will return on the new vessel. Other adult-only venues include Palo Steakhouse, Enchant\u00e9 by Chef Arnaud Lallement and The Rose lounge.<\/p>\n

Quiet Cove also returns as a secluded area for adults only on the upper decks. For self care, guests can visit Senses Spa and Senses Fitness, or book a personal pampering at Untangled Salon or Hook\u2019s Barbery.<\/p>\n

The 760-foot-long water ride AquaMouse seen on other Wish-class ships will appear on the Disney Believe.<\/p>\n

Within the Walt Disney Theatre, guests can experience \u201cDisney Seas the Adventure,\u201d an original stage show for the Wish class.<\/p>\n

The \u201cPirate\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Parlay Party\u201d will return to the outside decks of the Disney Believe as a Wish-class fan-favorite. Guests can also experience the Hero Zone sports arena, the Disney Uncharted Adventure, an interactive mobile device experience, and the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas \u2014 which will feature complimentary showings of classic and first-run films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and more.<\/p>\n

Disney Believe will make stops at one or both of the cruise line\u2019s destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The newest vessel is part of Disney Cruise Line\u2019s expansion to 13 ships by late 2030.<\/p>\n
