Katy Perry<\/a> and Orlando Bloom<\/a> have called it quits after nearly a decade of dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaty and Orlando have split but are amicable,\u201d a source close to the pair exclusively tells Us Weekly. \u201cIt\u2019s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the insider, Perry, 40, and Bloom\u2019s split has been \u201ca long time coming\u201d as things between them \u201chave been tense for months.\u201d (The pair, who share 4-year-old daughter Daisy, have been apart since Perry kicked off her Lifetimes tour earlier this year.)<\/p>\n

For now, Perry is \u201ckeeping busy\u201d on tour \u201cand is distracted,\u201d the insider shares, revealing that while on the road, the pop star is \u201crenting out\u201d her Westcott Estate in Montecito, California.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut her and Orlando have always lived in their other Montecito home as their primary residence,\u201d the source continues, adding that the duo were \u201cplanning on making the Westcott home their family home but plans have changed\u201d and \u201chave been living apart since Katy has been on tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perry and Bloom were first romantically linked in January 2016, after they were spotted at multiple Golden Globes afterparties together. The couple briefly split in March 2017, but were back together by February 2018. Perry and Bloom got engaged<\/a> on Valentine\u2019s Day in February 2019 \u2014 and one year later, she announced in March 2020 that she was pregnant with the pair\u2019s first baby. Their daughter, Daisy Dove, arrived<\/a> that August. (Bloom is also the father of son Flynn, 14, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.)<\/p>\n

News of Perry and Bloom\u2019s breakup comes after reports of tension in their relationship.<\/p>\n
