JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 A man with a brand is a man with a plan. At least, that\u2019s the case for Eric Dunn<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For some, Eric is a familiar face on social media, bringing attention to Jax Parks<\/a> events and programming.<\/p>\n

For others, he\u2019s an extremely vocal Jags enthusiast. Either way, Eric uses his digital footprint with intention, creating content that connects Jacksonville\u2019s community to the city in different ways.<\/p>\n

In 2013, one viral 6-second Vine helped Eric build an audience of millions years ago. Today, he uses that same knack for content creation as the Community Engagement Specialist for Jax Parks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Voices of the 904<\/a>, he shares how content creation became a tool for community engagement, why Jacksonville has more to offer than many people realize and why he believes there\u2019s still plenty of room for local creators to make their mark.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why I post a lot in my role with Jax Parks because I\u2019m trying to inspire more people to go out and create the same kind of content about events that happen in Jacksonville to break that stigma, that there isn\u2019t anything to do here,\u201d Eric said. \u201cThe only way we do that is by more people talking about what there is to do here.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also challenges people to look beyond their old perceptions of Jacksonville and pay attention to the city taking shape around them.<\/p>\n
