Universal Orlando has extended the refurbishment of Jurassic Park River Adventure at Islands of Adventure.

The attraction was originally scheduled to reopen on November 19, 2026, but the reopening date has now been pushed back to December 17, 2026, adding nearly another month to its closure.

Universal has not shared a reason for the extended downtime or provided any details on the work taking place.

With the new reopening date, the attraction is now expected to return just ahead of the busy Christmas holiday season.

As always, refurbishment dates are subject to change.
