{"id":423721,"date":"2026-10-09T22:36:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-09T22:36:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/423721\/"},"modified":"2026-10-09T22:36:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-09T22:36:09","slug":"man-hospitalized-after-being-grazed-by-bullet-in-shooting-on-metrorail-tracks-in-miami-wsvn-7news-miami-news-weather-sports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/423721\/","title":{"rendered":"Man hospitalized after being grazed by bullet in shooting on Metrorail tracks in Miami &#8211; WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MIAMI (WSVN) &#8211; A man is in the hospital after being grazed on the arm by a bullet in a shooting on the Metrorail tracks in Miami.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Miami Fire Rescue, a man in his 50s was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital after he was grazed by a bullet near Metrorail tracks in the area of 511 NW 11th Street, just after 4 p.m., Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7Skyforce hovered over the scene where a Miami Police officer carrying a long gun could be seen walking between the tracks where a train had been stopped.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Video obtained by 7News shows the victim appearing to walk alongside paramedics on the tracks before being loaded into the back of an ambulance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s unclear what led up to the shooting and no subjects are in custody as authorities continue to investigate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Miami-Dade Transit officials said Metrorail service has been temporarily disrupted between its Allapattah and Douglas Road stations due to police activity. Officials say a bus bridge is being provided between these stations to assist passengers.
