A man was found guilty of fleeing and eluding and robbery charges after a 2024 arrest for his involvement in a Cape Coral arcade robbery, according to the State Attorney’s Office.<\/p>\n

The SAO says that Mikael Alejandro Blanc Stewart was initially arrested after evidence showed that he was the getaway driver following an armed robbery<\/a> of an arcade. It adds that he drove around the business three times before letting his co-defendant out of the car to rob it.<\/p>\n

Cape Coral police responded, and Stewart drove off. Records say that he veered off the road multiple times, drove into oncoming traffic, ran stop signs and reached speeds of 100+ miles per hour.<\/p>\n

Eventually, the vehicle crashed and Stewart was arrested. He was found guilty as charged of two counts of fleeing to elude a law enforcement officer and two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n
