Well, here we are again. Game day is upon us, and what looked like a probable loss for Jacksonville before the season now feels like a very winnable game. But only if the Jaguars keep the main thing the main thing and take care of business.<\/p>\n
It wasn\u2019t long ago that I said I wasn\u2019t picking the Jaguars until they proved me wrong. Now, I\u2019m at the point where I need a pretty good reason to pick against them. And the crazy part? I don\u2019t think this team is anywhere close to reaching its ceiling.<\/p>\n
They\u2019re winning by doing the things that matter most: taking the ball away on defense, protecting it on offense and playing complementary football. They\u2019re staying within themselves, executing and finding ways to win. Are they perfect? Far from it. But they\u2019re meeting, if not exceeding expectations, and there\u2019s plenty of room to grow.<\/p>\n
So, I\u2019m rolling with the Jaguars this week. I expect them to stay focused, handle their business, and take advantage of a wounded Philadelphia team.<\/p>\n
And with the new wrinkle we\u2019ve added to our prediction competition between Jamal, Justin and myself, I\u2019m swinging for the fences: Travis Hunter scores a touchdown in this one.– Jaguars 30, Eagles 17.<\/p>\n

Jaguars are on a tear. They really could return from London as the best team in the AFC. I don\u2019t think this game will be a blowout, despite all of the ongoing issues with Philadelphia. They\u2019re a banged up team, but London can be an equalizer. Give me a Brenton Strange TD this week. — Jaguars 28, Eagles 20.<\/p>\n
Jamal St. Cyr<\/p>\n
Season record: 3-1<\/p>\n
Philadelphia is missing Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith, has more questions than answers along the offensive line, and is coming off a loss to the Rams. Meanwhile, Jacksonville\u2019s defense ranks among the league\u2019s best at creating turnovers, and Trevor Lawrence has the offense rolling. I\u2019m expecting Liam Coen to lean on the run game, and Bhayshul Tuten is in line for a big day. My call: the Jags win comfortably, Tuten scores a touchdown, and Eagles fans spend the flight home wondering if their team left its offense somewhere over the Atlantic. Tuten anytime TD is my play. — Jaguars 31, Eagles 17.<\/p>\n
