TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 The 10 Tampa Bay Weather Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert for Wednesday for rounds of heavy rain that could lead to flooding.<\/p>\n

The rain is triggered by a cold front moving into the Tampa Bay area and stalling along the I-4 corridor.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While we saw some morning showers, the heaviest downpours and the highest chance for flooding trouble will be in the afternoon and evening hours.<\/p>\n

Between 2-4 inches of rain, with locally heavy amounts possible, could be picked up between Tuesday and Wednesday. The highest totals will be along and south of I-4.\u00a0<\/p>\n
