A Broward County man fatally stabbed his mother on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, the sheriff\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n

A Tamarac man is accused of stabbing his mother to death on Friday night, according to the Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Deputies responded to a reported stabbing on the 5300 block of NW 28th Avenue at around 7:45 p.m., the Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office said in a statement. They found 58-year-old Ylda Cabello-Ynocente with multiple stab wounds; she died at the home.<\/p>\n

Her son, Manuel Farfan-Cabello, 28, was also at the home, the sheriff\u2019s office said. Detectives determined that he killed his mother, although the statement did not include details on how they arrived at that conclusion.<\/p>\n

Farfan-Cabello faces one count of first-degree murder, the sheriff\u2019s office said. He was being held without bond Sunday at the Broward Main Jail. He doesn\u2019t have an attorney listed yet.<\/p>\n
