(WINK) \u2014 A 41-year-old Sarasota man died after a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 75 in Charlotte County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press release, the motorcyclist was traveling north on the inside lane of I-75 near mile marker 163 around 11:20 p.m. on Oct. 10. The rider became separated from the motorcycle and came to rest on the inside lane of I-75.<\/p>\n<p>The front of the unknown vehicle collided with the motorcyclist. After the collision, the driver of the unknown vehicle continued traveling north on I-75 without stopping.<\/p>\n<p>The motorcyclist died at the scene.
