WINTER PARK, Fla. \u2014 A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday morning in Winter Park, and police have someone in custody they believe was involved.<\/p>\n

Deputy Chief Lisa Suepat said traffic homicide investigators are investigating the crash in the area of South Orlando Avenue and Minnesota Avenue.<\/p>\n

Police are working to notify the motorcyclist\u2019s next of kin before releasing additional information.<\/p>\n

Investigators are also determining what criminal charges may apply to the person in custody. Police have not released that person\u2019s identity or announced charges.<\/p>\n

The crash initially shut down Orlando Avenue, also known as U.S. 17-92, in both directions between Gene Street and Minnesota Avenue.<\/p>\n

All lanes have since reopened, police said.<\/p>\n
