{"id":425911,"date":"2026-10-12T21:26:11","date_gmt":"2026-10-12T21:26:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/425911\/"},"modified":"2026-10-12T21:26:11","modified_gmt":"2026-10-12T21:26:11","slug":"st-pete-man-dead-seminole-woman-injured-in-park-boulevard-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/425911\/","title":{"rendered":"St. Pete man dead, Seminole woman injured in Park Boulevard crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The crash happened at the intersection of Park Boulevard and 83rd Street North in Pinellas County.<\/p>\n<p>SEMINOLE, Fla. \u2014 One man is dead and a woman is hospitalized after two cars crashed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/section\/pinellascounty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Pinellas County<\/a> around 2:15 p.m. Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.<\/p>\n<p>According to FHP troopers, a 49-year-old Seminole woman in an Acura SUV was driving east on Park Boulevard while a 40-year-old St. Petersburg man driving a Kia sedan was heading west on the same street.<\/p>\n<p>At the intersection of 83rd Street North, the Seminole woman turned left into the path of the St. Pete man&#8217;s car and they collided, FHP said. This resulted in his Kia sedan being redirected into a parked car in a nearby driveway.<\/p>\n<p>Both drivers were injured during the collision and were taken to nearby hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday morning, FHP confirmed the St. Pete man died from his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flhsmv.gov\/traffic-crash-reports\/crash-dashboard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles<\/a>, so far in 2026, Pinellas County has had 10,130 crashes, resulting in 6,257 injuries and 48 deaths.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The crash happened at the intersection of Park Boulevard and 83rd Street North in Pinellas County.
