(WINK) \u2014 Riverdale High School has returned to normal operations after a secure status was lifted Monday afternoon following an incident on campus, according to school officials.<\/p>\n<p>The school was placed on secure status earlier in the day, with all entrances and exits locked while students remained inside.<\/p>\n<p>According to an email from school officials, all students were safe during the incident.<\/p>\n<p>During a secure status, students remain inside school buildings while teaching continues. Entrances and exits are locked as a precaution.<\/p>\n<p>Dismissal was temporarily delayed until the secure status was lifted.<\/p>\n<p>School officials have not released details about the incident that prompted the security measures.<\/p>\n<p>WINK News has a crew headed to the area and will provide updates as more information becomes available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"FORT MYERS, Fla.
