Cape Coral police responded on Monday morning after a missing goat was found wandering in the road near Del Prado Boulevard.<\/p>\n

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, officers received reports of a goat wandering the roadways near Del Prado Boulevard. CCPD said the goat was almost hit by a car.<\/p>\n

Officers said a “Good Samaritan” stepped in and was able to hold onto the goat until officers arrived and were able to secure the goat to a tree with a makeshift leash, ensuring the goat stayed safe and out of the roadway.<\/p>\n

Anyone who is able to identify the goat or knows the owner should contact the Cape Coral Police Department.<\/p>\n
