INDIAN SHORES, Fla. \u2014 It could soon be easier to complete beach renourishment projects at Indian Shores.<\/p>\n
Homeowners used to have to permanently sign over public access to the beach in front of their home.<\/p>\n
But now a new ordinance says they will only need to give temporary access to their property for work to be done on the beaches.<\/p>\n
Town Councilor Mark Housman says this new ordinance will protect Indian Shores so people can continue to enjoy it for generations.<\/p>\n
Representatives from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers will host a meeting next month to answer any questions residents may have about the changes.<\/p>\n
