PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 A Port St. Lucie man whose TikTok <\/a>and Twich<\/a> bios identify him as a \u201ccybersecurity engineer\u201d was jailed Wednesday after police reopened an investigation that had been closed in May.<\/p>\n

Mark Stephen Asea, 36, was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail <\/a>on Sept. 30 at 10:19 a.m. on one pending count of offense against computer users, according to jail records. His bond was set at $35,000. An earlier stalking charge appears to have been dropped.<\/p>\n

The charge stems from an earlier investigation in which detectives accused Asea of gaining access to women\u2019s electronic devices and using TikTok posts to discuss information they said was private.<\/p>\n

In a warrant affidavit, a detective described reviewing videos from an account linked to Asea. The profile\u2019s bio identifies its user as a \u201cnarcissistic abuse survivor,\u201d \u201cformer satanist,\u201d \u201cempath,\u201d \u201ccybersecurity engineer\u201d and \u201cwoodsman.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police said one video included references to a woman\u2019s password, device information, banking activity, license plate number and possible location tracking. The woman told investigators the password had been shared only in a closed TikTok group chat and that she had not given Asea permission to share it.<\/p>\n

Another woman told police Asea previously had remote access to her computer to help with an application. She became concerned, investigators said, after an image from a private Telegram message appeared in one of his TikTok posts.<\/p>\n

The earlier affidavit alleged Asea posted more than 100 TikTok videos mentioning one of the women, including as many as six in a day. Detectives also cited videos that appeared to show computer equipment and coding as they investigated whether he had accessed devices without authorization.<\/p>\n

Asea\u2019s booking photo shows him with long dark hair and prominent geometric tattoos across his face. <\/p>\n
