TORONTO (Oct. 14, 2026) \u2014\u00a0Orlando City SC (11-13-5, 38 points)\u00a0rallied from two deficits to earn a point in a 3-3 draw against Toronto FC (7-10-12, 33 points) on Wednesday night at BMO Field.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
The hosts opened the scoring in the 26th minute as Theo Corbeanu sent a cross from the right wing into the center of the box towards Lewis Morgan, who broke free of his marks to head home the opener.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Orlando City equalized just before the halftime break after being awarded\u00a0a penalty kick for a handball in the box. Filling in as captain for the injured Robin Jansson, Mart\u00edn Ojeda calmly converted into the lower-left corner for his 15th goal of the year across all competitions and\u00a0the 48th of his Orlando City career, making him the Club\u2019s all-time leading goalscorer.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Toronto regained its advantage just four minutes into the second half after its press forced a turnover deep in Orlando’s defensive third. Maxime Cr\u00e9peau came off his line to make the initial save, but the rebound fell to Theo Corbeanu at the far post, where the Canadian winger slotted into an open net. <\/p>\n
The Lions pulled level for a second time in the 77th minute through Antoine Griezmann, who continued his\u00a0stellar form with his 10th MLS goal of the season in just 13 league appearances since joining the Club this summer. After Ojeda delivered a set piece into the box, Iago headed the ball across goal for Griezmann to volley home from close range and mark his ninth consecutive MLS match with a goal contribution.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Griezmann played a key role again six minutes later as Orlando City took the lead. The Frenchman slipped Iv\u00e1n Angulo into space on the right before making a decoy run into the penalty area, creating room for Daryl Dike to fire a first-time finish into the side netting in the 83rd minute. With the assist, Griezmann has now recorded 17 goal contributions in 17 appearances across all competitions since joining the Lions in July.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Toronto found a late equalizer through Matheus Pereira after another rebound in the box. Cr\u00e9peau parried Djordje Mihailovic’s long-range effort, but the loose ball fell straight to Pereira, who converted at the near post to split the points between the two sides. <\/p>\n
The result keeps Orlando City seventh in the Eastern Conference heading into the final five regular-season matches of the year. Up next, the Lions return home to Inter.co Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 17, to host D.C. United. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Apple TV.<\/p>\n
