Inter Miami CF<\/a> have qualified for the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs, clinching their spot following a 2-0 win<\/a> vs. New York City FC<\/a> on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

With five regular-season matches left, the reigning MLS Cup presented by Audi champions are second in the Eastern Conference standings (52 points; 14W-5L-10D).<\/p>\n

After lifting MLS Cup in 2025, Miami have their sights set on becoming the first back-to-back winners since the 2011-12 LA Galaxy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Herons have already won a trophy this year, beating LIGA MX powerhouse Cruz Azul for the Michelob ULTRA Campeones Cup<\/a> in mid-September.<\/p>\n

\n Star players<\/p>\n

Lionel Messi<\/a> is on pace to win a third straight Landon Donovan MLS MVP award, boasting a league-best 37 goal contributions (23g\/14a). The Argentine icon is also targeting a second straight Golden Boot presented by Audi title.<\/p>\n

Luis Su\u00e1rez<\/a> is Miami’s second-leading scorer with 15g\/10a, while Mexican international Germ\u00e1n Berterame<\/a> has chipped in 8g\/8a.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Argentine international and 2022 FIFA World Cup<\/a> champion Rodrigo De Paul<\/a> anchors the midfield and has added 14 assists. Brazilian legend\u00a0Casemiro<\/a>, who joined this summer, adds further quality and experience.<\/p>\n

\n Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs<\/p>\n

MLS Cup presented by Audi will be played Dec. 18, while the playoffs begin Nov. 18 with Wild Card matches.<\/p>\n

Seeds 1-7 in each conference qualify for the Round One Best-of-3 Series.
\nSeeds 8-9 in each conference qualify for the Wild Card matches.
\nSeeds 10-15 in each conference do not qualify for the postseason.<\/p>\n
