CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Renewing your vehicle registration in Lee County just got a little easier.

The Lee County Tax Collector’s Office has added two new Florida MV Express kiosks at Publix locations, bringing the total number of kiosks in the county from seven to nine.

The new kiosks are located at Publix at Calusa Cay, 5100 Pine Island Rd. NW in Bokeelia and Publix at Shoppes at Del Prado, 17960 N. Tamiami Trail in North Fort Myers.

The kiosks let eligible customers skip a trip to a Tax Collector service center entirely.

All you need is your renewal notice PIN or license plate number and the date of birth of the first registered owner to get started, and the whole process takes less than two minutes.

“Convenience looks different for every customer, so we want to give people options for how and where they do business with us,” said Noelle Branning, Lee County Tax Collector.

“These kiosks make a routine renewal quick and easy and because they’re located inside Publix stores, customers can take care of it while they’re already out running errands,” Branning said.

Florida residents can use any Florida MV Express kiosk across the state, not just in Lee County.
