Tickets for JetBlue\u2019s new domestic first class offering, BlueFirst<\/a>, are now available for purchase<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As of Thursday, customers can book BlueFirst seats on select flights across more than 30 routes, the carrier said.<\/p>\n

BlueFirst will debut Dec. 8 on flights between Boston and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Within days, the product will become available on select New York-LaGuardia-Fort Lauderdale flights; more routes will follow \u201cin the weeks and months ahead,\u201d the airline said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe designed BlueFirst to deliver a more accessible first-class experience that combines the thoughtful hospitality and service customers expect from JetBlue with exceptional value and comfort,\u201d JetBlue CEO Joanna Geraghty said in a news release. \u201cWe\u2019re excited that customers can now start making BlueFirst part of their travel plans.\u201d<\/p>\n

First announced over the summer<\/a>, BlueFirst will come with plush, specially engineered seats, 13.3-inch seatback screens with Bluetooth, bento box-style meals, and sommelier-selected wines. Seats will be arranged in a two-by-two configuration, with five inches of recline and up to seven inches of additional legroom compared to JetBlue\u2019s Main seating.<\/p>\n

BlueFirst cabins will eventually be added to all aircraft without Mint, JetBlue\u2019s business-class offering. The carrier has never had a traditional first-class product before.<\/p>\n
