\"LayzaCAPE CORAL, Fla. \u2014<\/p>\n

Two residents of a halfway house were arrested by officers with the Cape Coral Police Department’s Special Victims Unit after they were accused of violating the terms of their probation.<\/p>\n

According to CCPD, officers responded to a call for service at a halfway house on the 1700 block of Northwest 1st Place. A resident reported seeing their roommate, a registered sex offender named William Plumley, watching child sexual abuse material.<\/p>\n

Officers executed a search warrant at the residence, which eventually led to the arrest of two men: Plumley and Enrico Mendes Jr. on probation violation charges. CCPD says that they were in possession of unauthorized cellular devices capable of connecting to the internet.<\/p>\n

Investigators say they seized multiple electronic devices, including a smashed cell phone found hidden in a bathroom.<\/p>\n

CCPD says that the investigation is still ongoing, and that additional charges may be forthcoming.<\/p>\n

Only Plumley’s mugshot has been released at this time.<\/p>\n
