A rideshare driver was arrested after he was accused of lewd conduct with a teen passenger in Hialeah, police said.

Vicente Fermin Rodriguez Hernandez, 45, was arrested Thursday on a charge of lewd and lascivious touching of a minor, Miami-Dade jail records showed.

According to an arrest report, on Wednesday, the 17-year-old victim had requested a rideshare and was picked up by Rodriguez Hernandez.

During the ride, she said he gave her compliments, calling her “guapa” and repeatedly solicited a hug from her, the report said.

To appease him she agreed to a hug, and he parked and got in the rear seat next to her.

She said he forcibly kissed her on the mouth without consent then touched her body and tried to put his hand in her pants, the report said.

The teen said she grabbed Rodriguez Hernandez’s hand and repeatedly told him “no” but he rubbed her private area over her pants and again tried to reach inside her pants, the report said.

She said he finally got back in the driver’s seat and drove the teen to her home, but once there, he forcibly kissed her again without consent then gave her his phone number, the report said.

The girl said he started sending her texts saying he “liked their kisses” and she responded that she wasn’t seeking a relationship, the report said.

Rodriguez Hernandez, who the report said lives in California, was taken into custody and invoked his right to remain silent before he was booked into jail, authorities said. Attorney information wasn’t available.

A rideshare driver was arrested after he was accused of lewd conduct with a teen passenger in Hialeah,…

[15
225,227,226
post-429601","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-hialeah","tag-hialeah","tag-hialeah-headlines","tag-hialeah-news
["GET
