ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 A traffic stop along the Florida Turnpike on Tuesday morning ended with six passengers running away, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n
In a release, an FHP spokeswoman said the incident happened around 7:17 a.m. at mile marker 267 in Ocoee.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur trooper conducted a traffic stop on (a 2018 Ford F-350) for improper lane change and improper tag display,\u201d the release reads. \u201cThe driver began to pull over, and six passengers ran from the vehicle on foot.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to the release, all six passengers were ultimately located, and three were placed under arrest on charges of resisting.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the driver \u2014 identified as a 23-year-old man \u2014 remained in the vehicle, troopers said.<\/p>\n
Four people were also turned over to Border Patrol, troopers added.<\/p>\n
No additional information has been provided at this time.<\/p>\n
