Two guests were left in pain after riding some of Universal Orlando Resort\u2019s popular attractions.<\/p>\n

Florida\u2019s latest quarterly theme park injury report<\/a>, updated October 15, 2026, covers incidents reported between July and September 2026 at the state\u2019s major parks, which operate under a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that exempts them from routine state ride inspections in exchange for self-reporting serious guest injuries.<\/p>\n

Walt Disney World logged the most incidents of the quarter with four<\/a>. On July 11, a 25-year-old woman injured her right leg while riding Humunga Kowabunga at Typhoon Lagoon. On September 1, a 42-year-old man reported dizziness and eye pain after riding Rock \u2019n\u2019 Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets at Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios.<\/p>\n

Later that month, a 44-year-old man experienced vomiting after riding Tiana\u2019s Bayou Adventure on September 23, and on September 25, a 45-year-old man had a seizure after exiting Pirates of the Caribbean.<\/p>\n

Universal Orlando Resort reported two incidents during the same period. On July 6, a 61-year-old man experienced abdominal pain after riding Fast & Furious \u2013 Supercharged, with the report noting a pre-existing condition, while on August 29, a 24-year-old woman reported abdominal pain after riding Revenge of the Mummy.<\/p>\n

SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and Legoland Florida reported no incidents for the quarter. The report doesn\u2019t say whether any of the rides were found to be at fault, and these kinds of filings often involve guests\u2019 existing health conditions rather than ride malfunctions.<\/p>\n

Both Universal attractions named in the latest report are at Universal Studios Florida. Fast & Furious \u2013 Supercharged opened in 2018 in the park\u2019s San Francisco area, where Disaster! used to be, and was permanently closed in August 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ride loaded guests onto a party bus that traveled between large projection screens and physical sets. A new attraction based on this franchise\u2013Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift\u2013is set to replace the closed Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at the park<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Revenge of the Mummy has been part of the park since 2004 and is one of its best-known thrill rides<\/a>. The indoor coaster combines high-speed launches, sudden drops, and darkness with a backward section, and it reopened in 2022 after a major refurbishment that added updated scenes and effects<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new filings follow four Universal incidents reported in the previous quarter, covering April through June 2026. Two of those involved Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Islands of Adventure, the launched coaster that opened in 2021 and is known for its high speeds and multiple inversions.<\/p>\n

On May 3, a 17-year-old girl lost consciousness on the ride, and on May 25, a 53-year-old man reported weakness and shortness of breath, which the report attributed to a pre-existing condition.<\/p>\n

Also in May, a 54-year-old woman experienced chest pain on TeAwa The Fearless River at Volcano Bay on May 17. On June 17, a 20-year-old woman reported weakness and lightheadedness on Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, which opened with Epic Universe in May 2025.<\/p>\n
