In-person Early Voting begins today in most Tampa Bay counties. You can find the location and times of Early Voting sites on wmnf.org<\/a> or on your county\u2019s supervisor of elections website. You can vote at any Early Voting location in your county. That\u2019s unlike on Election Day, when you can only vote at your assigned precinct.<\/p>\n Joe Redner has died at the age of 86<\/p>\n Joe Redner, a Tampa civil rights advocate and strip club owner died Friday at the age of 86. Redner was known as an activist for free speech and cannabis rights. Redner also ran for offices including the Tampa city Council and Hillsborough County Commission. Redner also donated a parcel of his land to occupy Tampa after the city shut down the original encampment in West Tampa. <\/p>\n Pinellas County votes to end its agreement on exams for sexual assault victims<\/p>\n Suncoast Center was placed on a correction plan that began on June 16 following reports of patients waiting up to eight hours for forensics exams. Under the correction plan staff had 90 days to undergo basic training to revise and upgrade it sexual assault program and policy. Pinellas County has now put the Suncoast center on notice; the agreement that provides sexual assault exams will be terminated effective December 31, 2026. <\/p>\n Tampa Theatre\u2019s 100-year celebration<\/p>\n The Tampa Theatre reopened last week for its 100th anniversary celebration. The event reveled the results of months of historical restoration.
