Putnam County had the region\u2019s highest rate at 5.1%, while Nassau had the lowest at 4.3%.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The region\u2019s labor force totaled 879,894, down 0.4% from a year earlier. There were 39,397 unemployed residents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The Jacksonville metropolitan area had 802,800 nonagricultural jobs, an increase of 2,400 over the year.
