Larry Baldwin Jr. was convicted of first-degree murder and second-degree murder in the deaths of Larry Baldwin Sr., 41, and Rubisnney Giraldo-Mina, 19. The sentence says he is not eligible for early release or parole.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The killings happened just before 3:30 a.m. June 21, 2025, at a business complex near Baymeadows Road and Old Baymeadows Road. Investigators said Baldwin, then 18, and the two victims had been working on a disabled truck when an argument broke out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Surveillance video showed Baldwin arguing with Giraldo-Mina, striking him with a firearm and then shooting him multiple times, prosecutors said. The gun discharged during the confrontation and struck Baldwin Sr., according to the video account presented in the case.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Both men died at the scene.
