The Miami Dolphins remain winless on the season \u2014 sitting at 0-5 after a much needed bye week this past Sunday. As the team continues to try and get better, the vultures have already begun circling. According to various reports, teams have been ringing general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan to check on the availability of certain players in regards to potential trades.<\/p>\n
Dolphins veteran defensive tackle, Zach Sieler, is one such player.<\/p>\n
On Monday, Sieler met with the South Florida media, and the defensive lineman was asked about the possibility of being traded away from the Miami Dolphins as the trade deadline approaches.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know people say rumors or talk, or whatever, this time of year, but you know, I\u2019m here focused playing games here to win for the Dolphins, man. I think we\u2019re doing a great thing and I\u2019m excited for this next week coming up \u2014 coming off the bye ready to roll.\u201d<\/p>\n
Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post then asked Sieler directly if he would be open to being dealt to a contender this season.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love it here. I\u2019ve been here for how long? I want to win here as a Dolphin. I think [head coach Jeff] Hafley and [general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan] Sully did an amazing job here. I\u2019m excited to see this team is growing and [to see] where we\u2019re going \u2014 let\u2019s get some wins.\u201d<\/p>\n
At 31-years of age, no one would blame Sullivan if he did decide to unload Sieler for some extra draft capital. However, according to Sieler, it seems he wants to remain a member of the Dolphins for the foreseeable future. The National Football League\u2019s trade deadline is three weeks and a day from today \u2014 on Tuesday, November 10th.
