ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 Central Florida is in for another beautiful day, with cool temperatures to start the morning and warm, mostly sunny conditions expected this afternoon. <\/p>\n
However, changes are on the way as windy weather and dangerous surf are forecast to return to the area this weekend.<\/p>\n
Daytime highs will climb into the upper 70s and low 80s under mostly sunny and dry skies, making for pleasant weather across the region.<\/p>\n
But don\u2019t get too comfortable with the calm conditions. Stronger winds are expected to return to Central Florida over the weekend, with the strongest gusts likely along the local beaches.<\/p>\n
As winds pick up, ocean conditions will deteriorate, with waves expected to build to between 9 and 15 feet along the coastline. <\/p>\n
The rough surf could create hazardous conditions for beachgoers and prompt additional coastal advisories from the National Weather Service over the next couple of days.<\/p>\n
King tides combined with the high surf could also lead to minor coastal flooding in some coastal areas.<\/p>\n
Beachgoers should keep a close eye on the forecast as the weekend approaches, stay out of dangerous surf and follow any advisories issued by local officials.<\/p>\n
