Peacock Home now has a storefront on Central Avenue in St. Petersburg\u2019s Grand Central District<\/a>, offering a curated mix of home goods, vintage finds and unexpected decorative pieces. In the Warehouse Arts District, Reverie Room combines a bookstore and lounge with themed rooms and gift items such as candles, stuffed animals and bookmarks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Cooking in Tampa
Pura Vida Miami<\/a>, known for its MAHA-friendly, seed-oil-free menu of avocado toast, salads, protein plates, smoothies and more, has arrived at Water Street<\/a>. Missouri-based Andy\u2019s Frozen Custard<\/a> is planning a new location at the northwest corner of South Dale Mabry Highway and West El Prado Boulevard. The chain already has locations in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Lutz, Odessa, Plant City, Wimauma and Valrico. D\u2019Rose Gastrobar<\/a>, a family-owned restaurant focused on small plates made to share, is now open in Ybor City.<\/p>\n

On the Menu in Pinellas
Lolita\u2019s Coastal Cocina<\/a>, Float Malt Shop & Creamery<\/a> and Beach Market<\/a> are now serving guests at Opal Sol<\/a> on Clearwater Beach. Float offers shakes, malts, floats, ice cream and playful sundaes, while Lolita\u2019s Coastal Cocina pairs Mexican traditions with coastal Florida flavors through shareable plates, tacos and bowls. Beach Market offers smoothies, specialty coffees and grab-and-go fare. In St. Pete, Venezuelan concept Car\u00fapano Kitchen<\/a>, known for its stuffed arepas and empanadas, will bring its first brick-and-mortar location to 1040 4th St. N., Apt. 34, in mid-November. A new beer and wine bar with 16 taps has also arrived at 312 W. 48th St., next to St. Pete Brewing Company<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A New Hub for Sports
A $44.2 million Athletics & Aquatics Center is coming to Premier Sports Campus North in Lakewood Ranch<\/a>. The 44,000-square-foot facility will feature a 50-meter competition pool, 24 pickleball courts, a therapy pool, pro shop and training room. The pickleball area will include 14 covered, lighted courts and 10 outdoor courts. The center is expected to open later this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
