A photo TMZ Sports has obtained shows emergency medical personnel gathered around Ric.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re told Ric cut his head and eye open during the fall &#8230; and his eye was bleeding extensively. He may also have a concussion.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"continued\" class=\"continued-anchor\"\/><\/p>\n<p>He was ultimately loaded into an ambulance and taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>                  <a class=\"js-click-image js-track-link image-lightbox-preview\" data-node-ref=\"tmz:image-asset:image_jpg_20261023_2648b01652ed45778cdfa46147f527b0\" data-container-ref=\"tmz:article:e32df601-1412-48fa-8a29-a4820ea38dd9\" data-context=\"{&quot;section&quot;:&quot;permalink&quot;,&quot;name&quot;:&quot;image&quot;}\"><\/p>\n<p>                          <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/2648b01652ed45778cdfa46147f527b0_md.jpg\" alt=\"ric-flair-ig-1\" width=\"728\" height=\"546\" class=\"img-fluid image-block__img-fluid img-aspect-auto\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                                  <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The timing of Ric&#8217;s fall is interesting &#8230; because he released a statement a few hours ago saying he couldn&#8217;t make it to a fan convention in Seattle because doctors told him not to fly too far with the clot.<\/p>\n<p>Our sources tell us the clot issue isn&#8217;t new &#8230; but instead something the legendary wrestler has been dealing with for months.<\/p>\n<p>He noted blood clots can be serious &#8212; even life-threatening &#8212; in his post &#8230; and also mentioned Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts&#8217; own recent diagnosis with clots.<\/p>\n<p>Ric apologized to fans and his agent for having to miss the event. He also said he will soon undergo a procedure to have the affected vein stripped. It&#8217;s unclear how this fall may impact that procedure.<\/p>\n<p>Friday&#8217;s trip to the hospital isn&#8217;t the first for Flair &#8230; who nearly died back in 2017 after an intestinal rupture.
