Marie Tarzia Siegler, a pioneering business owner, devoted mother, and deeply cherished grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully from leukemia surrounded by the love of her family on October 20, 2026. Born on April 23, 1941, at Beth El Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, Marie lived her life as one big prayer, leaving behind an enduring legacy of strength, resilience, and unconditional love.

Marie’s lifelong passion for beauty culture began at just 14 years old when she took a job washing hair. While balancing her education at Woodrow Wilson Vocational High School, she completed her beauty culture schooling by age 18. That same year, she became a business owner, opening her first salon, C’est La Vie, in Westbury, New York. Marie spent over 60 years as a dedicated entrepreneur and hairstylist until her retirement in 2018.

A fiercely independent woman, Marie showed her immense strength in her 80s when she courageously fought and beat breast cancer, supported closely by her daughter, Jodi. She was a true “shop until you drop” spirit who loved hunting for a good bargain during weekend shopping trips with her grandchildren. Above all, she was an anchor for her family, living by her golden rule: “Keep praying, God hears you.”

Marie is survived by her four beloved siblings; her three children, Anthony, Dean, and Jodi; and her six grandchildren, Francesca, Dean, Sophia, Josephine, Preston and Austin; her son and daughter in law, Dawn and Al.

She departed this life at peace, ready to be reunited with her mother and father. Marie’s remarkable courage, deep faith, and endless love will continue to guide and inspire her family down every road they take in this life.

Marie Tarzia Siegler, a pioneering business owner, devoted mother, and deeply cherished grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully…

[12
171,173,172
post-436867","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-port-st-lucie","tag-port-st-lucie","tag-port-st-lucie-headlines","tag-port-st-lucie-news
["GET
