(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox10tv.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WALA<\/a>) &#8211; Florida Highway Patrol officials say a 70 year old pedestrian received critical injuries in a traffic accident on U.S. 98 Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Authorities say a vehicle was traveling east on U.S. 98 about 4:00 p.m. Saturday in the inside lane, just west of Emerald Shores Blvd. when a pedestrian was walking across the east bound lanes of U.S. 98, west of Emerald Shores Blvd.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">FHP says the pedestrian was walking north from the south side of U.S. 98 and a collision occurred. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Authorities identify her only as a 70 year old female from Roswell, Georgia and say she has critical injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">They also say a 13 year old passenger in the vehicle from Enterprise, Alabama received minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WALA.
