At 20 years old, Easton Duhigg’s first priority is focusing on how he wants to make a living.

“I tried a lot of different avenues for entrepreneurship, and that kind of fizzled down,” said Easton.

He started detailing cars to put himself through college. He’s experienced the harsh reality of entrepreneurship firsthand.

“It’s sometimes difficult that human nature takes over and I’m like, I am not making enough money,” said Easton.

That’s why his latest business move at “Anointed Auto” may surprise you. Once a month, he gives one person in need a free detail. That led him to Erika Witten in Cape Coral.

“I just work every day as hard as I can to know that I won’t fail my son,” said Erika. “Everything is about him.”

Erika is a single mom who takes care of her 12-year-old son who lives with autism. She uses her car to work multiple food delivery jobs to make ends meet.

When Easton offered to detail her car free of charge, that act of service meant everything.

“He said, I don’t care how messy it is! I will take care of it for you. I said you are a blessing,” said Erika.

For someone so young, Easton has learned the greatest payoff isn’t always financial; it’s in how we help others.

“I would say fulfillment,” said Easton. “I think that’s the thing I get out of it. I think that’s my purpose.”
