TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida State University will debut its first-ever drone show during its football match against Clemson Saturday, according to the athletic department.<\/p>\n
The show is part of an expanded game-day experience featuring Halloween activities, military tributes and a celebration of Seminoles legend Peter Warrick. <\/p>\n
Dubbed \u201cOperation Garnet Storm,\u201d the festivities are expected to include a drone show, stadium-wide light displays and interactive fan experiences during the second half at Doak Campbell Stadium, the athletics department announced last week.<\/p>\n

The show will be part of Garnet Hour, featuring the Marching Chiefs, video boards and stadium lighting to create an enhanced atmosphere inside and outside the stadium. Fans will also have the opportunity to participate in a light show at the start of the fourth quarter, the department said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOperation Garnet Storm is a comprehensive campaign to provide our fans a one-of-a-kind experience in Doak Campbell Stadium,\u201d Bruce Warwick, interim director of athletics, said. \u201cFrom the moment they arrive until after the game, fans will have opportunities to engage, interact and enjoy Saturday night in Tallahassee.\u201d<\/p>\n
The festivities are expected to begin at 3 p.m. on Langford Green just before the game kicks off at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n
