ORLANDO, Fla. – Businessman and tech entrepreneur, Chris Messina, joined \u2018Orlando\u2019s Morning News\u2019 on Thursday to make one last effort to appeal voters ahead of the Nov. 3 election.<\/p>\n
He talked about how he thinks he did in a Channel 9 debate that aired live on Oct. 28, his stance on Amendment 3 and what he would want to accomplish as Orange County Mayor. <\/p>\n

Messina is in support of the homestead exemption proposal because he thinks it will save home owners more money for things like more groceries in their pantries. <\/p>\n He also believes it will give young homeowners the opportunity to qualify for a mortgage since taxes will be lower when factored into that mortgage rate.<\/p>\n \u201cI am asking everyone who is listening [to WDBO] to vote for Amendment 3,\u201d Messina said. \u201cIf you\u2019re a homeowner in Orange County, you will save a $1,000 on your property taxes.
