FORT PIERCE \u2500\u2500 The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum will host its 41st Annual Muster on Saturday, Nov. 7.<\/p>\n
The museum sits on the original World War II training grounds where the U.S. Navy\u2019s very first combat divers \u2014 known as \u201cFrogmen,\u201d including Naval Combat Demolition Units and Underwater Demolition Teams, trained.<\/p>\n
The annual muster will be a full-day celebration of the legacy, values, and enduring impact of the SEAL Teams.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s muster, which is free to attend, features athletic challenges, a K9 demonstration, family activities, leadership speakers, veteran-owned businesses, and opportunities to engage with special operations veterans.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve incorporated a lot more interactive activities and challenges this year,\u201d said the museum\u2019s marketing and media representative AJ Bartucca.<\/p>\n
\u2022 A 5K run starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday.<\/p>\n
\u2022 The museum opens at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Other activities start at noon and go until 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u2022 The K-9 demonstration, a crowd favorite, is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u2022 A live DJ, food trucks and Little Jim\u2019s mobile bars add to the event.<\/p>\n
The museum\u2019s parking lot is closed on Saturday. Park in the field 5\/10 of a mile south of the museum. Complimentary shuttle service to the event will be provided from there.<\/p>\n
Bleacher seating is limited. Organizers encourage guests to bring outdoor chairs to the event.<\/p>\n
The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum is located at 3300 North Highway A1A, Fort Pierce.<\/p>\n
