(WCTV) &#8211; Leon County Schools\u2019 deputy superintendent is accused of financial theft involving the Foundation for Leon County Schools, according to the sheriff\u2019s office. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Michelle Gayle, 64, was arrested after an investigation into \u201cfinancial discrepancies\u201d involving the foundation, which is a nonprofit that supports Leon County Schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Gayle is accused of using her position to obtain alleged reimbursements. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Leon County Schools\u2019 deputy superintendent is accused of financial theft involving the...\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/XKGFY2WWH5ADDPUNSEPCB6AIBM.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Leon County Schools\u2019 deputy superintendent is accused of financial theft involving the Foundation for Leon County Schools, according to the sheriff\u2019s office.(Leon County Schools)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Detectives found discrepancies between the information Gayle provided to the foundation and the payments she received, LCSO said.
