Horne prefers the shorter drive, yes, but he said the atmosphere in Jacksonville is beyond compare.<\/p>\n
\u201cJacksonville, it\u2019s off the chain,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s real nice.\u201d<\/p>\n
The city sprouts a sprawling RV city and has long been billed \u201cThe World\u2019s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.\u201d This year, it\u2019s officially called the Invesco QQQ Atlanta Gridiron Classic.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s very significant,\u201d Horne said. \u201cThis is the must-win game.\u201d<\/p>\n
Destiny Moss, a Georgia fan from Acworth, has never experienced the Jacksonville scene on game day, but no matter. The party has come to her backyard.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really exciting,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s just Friday at this point, but we know it\u2019s gonna amp up and it\u2019s gonna be really awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n
Her best friend, Ashley Klugman, drove in from Dallas, Texas, to cheer on the Dawgs. \u201cFeeling real good,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re gonna eat some Gators tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n
Chris Chapman and his family, Florida fans who live just south of Jacksonville, arrived at the parking lot off Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard at around midnight Friday. He called the environment in Atlanta subdued by comparison to the traditional host city. <\/p>\n
\u201cI love it in Jacksonville,\u201d he said. \u201cI don\u2019t ever want it to leave Jacksonville. But in the scenario we have, it would have been nice to have a \u201994-\u201995 scenario.\u201d<\/p>\n
He\u2019s referring to the years when the teams played outside Jacksonville: One year was at the Gators\u2019 home stadium in Florida, and the other was at UGA\u2019s home field in Athens.<\/p>\n
Christie Grimsley and Debra Reynolds, two Bulldog fans, were longing for the traditional rivalry meeting place. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe miss Jacksonville,\u201d Grimsley said. \u201cIt\u2019s different than any other. This is not the biggest cocktail party. But the Dawgs are still gonna win!\u201d <\/p>\n
