The first workweek of November begins with another wet day on Key Biscayne, with thunderstorms likely, a 90% chance of rain and the potential for street flooding.<\/p>\n

Up to an inch of rain is possible Monday, with locally heavier downpours. The high will be around 82 degrees, with east winds at 10 to 20 mph.<\/p>\n

The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a Flood Watc<\/a>h through 7 p.m. Monday, as an upper-level low-pressure system continues to influence weather conditions across South Florida and nearby waters.<\/p>\n

Forecasters say conditions remain favorable for heavy rainfall and slow-moving thunderstorms, with bands of rain capable of causing urban and street flooding. Residents should remain alert for flooding in low-lying neighborhoods, parking lots and on roads where water may accumulate rapidly during heavier downpours.<\/p>\n

Tonight, expect variable cloudiness with scattered thunderstorms, a low around 77 degrees and east winds at 10 to 20 mph.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, Election Day, residents heading to the polls at the Key Biscayne Community Center may want to bring umbrellas or rain gear. The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a 50% to 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

Tuesday’s high will be around 82 degrees, with east winds at 10 to 20 mph.<\/p>\n
