The Hialeah Police Department has launched an active animal cruelty investigation after a baby goat was found dead following a deeply disturbing incident over the weekend.

The investigation was triggered by viral footage circulating on social media showing the young, terrified animal running through heavy traffic on a busy Hialeah roadway near the Westland Mall. Onlookers and traffic came to a halt as witnesses noticed the goat was covered in dollar bills, which had been taped directly all over its body.

Local animal rescue advocates and community members, who later named the goat “Valor,” expressed immense heartbreak and fury after police confirmed the animal did not survive the ordeal. Cruelty investigators are now reviewing the footage to trace where the goat came from and who is responsible for the act.

Many in the community have voiced sharp criticism online, pointing out that numerous bystanders chose to film the animal’s distress for social media clout rather than stepping in to capture and save it from the dangerous traffic.

The Hialeah Police Department issued a formal statement confirming they are fully aware of the video and are treating the case with high priority: “We take all matters involving potential animal cruelty seriously and remain committed to ensuring the circumstances are thoroughly investigated.”

The Hialeah Police Department has launched an active animal cruelty investigation after a baby goat was found dead…

[15
15823,100129,249,225,227,226,23883,75315,123,1407,100128,100130
post-445158","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-hialeah","tag-broward","tag-dade","tag-fort-lauderdale","tag-hialeah","tag-hialeah-headlines","tag-hialeah-news","tag-hit","tag-hits","tag-miami","tag-music","tag-top40","tag-y100
["GET
