LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 St. Lucie Public Schools will dismiss students one hour early Monday and cancel all after-school activities as heavy rainfall and flooding continue to impact the county.<\/p>\n<p>The district announced that all students will be dismissed one hour earlier than their regularly scheduled dismissal times. All after-school activities, including aftercare programs, have also been canceled.<\/p>\n<p>The changes come after parts of St. Lucie County received up to 6 inches of rain.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier Monday, the district announced that parents and guardians could pick up their children early, with one exception.<\/p>\n<p>Oak Hammock K-8 School is not allowing early pickups because of flooding in front of the school, according to the district.
