The Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office said officers responded around 3:50 a.m. Sunday after reports that multiple people had been shot. They found Goodson wounded at the scene. He died later at the hospital.<\/p>\n
At least nine others who were wounded had gone to local hospitals, police said. The 15-year-old girl was in stable condition.<\/p>\n
The other eight victims ranged in age from 20 to 25 and included six women and two men. One woman was in life-threatening condition; the others were stable, police said.<\/p>\n
Investigators believe the house party on 5th Street drew about 100 to 200 people, who spilled into the streets. Two rounds of gunfire were reported in quick succession, with most people believed to have been shot during the second volley, police said.<\/p>\n
No suspects were in custody, and investigators had not determined how many people fired shots. <\/p>\n
