{"id":445376,"date":"2026-11-02T19:48:08","date_gmt":"2026-11-02T19:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/445376\/"},"modified":"2026-11-02T19:48:08","modified_gmt":"2026-11-02T19:48:08","slug":"aerial-video-shows-significant-flooding-in-st-lucie-west-police-urge-drivers-to-avoid-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/445376\/","title":{"rendered":"Aerial video shows significant flooding in St. Lucie West; police urge drivers to avoid area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">Port St. Lucie police are urging drivers to avoid portions of St. Lucie West as significant water accumulation creates hazardous conditions on area roadways.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Port St. Lucie Police Department said in a <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/1148846947795959\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">post on its Facebook page <\/a>that several roads have become difficult to navigate because of high water and asked motorists to stay out of the area unless travel is absolutely necessary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police said officers are responding to reports of vehicles stranded in high-water conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Drivers are being warned not to attempt to travel through standing water.
