A firm opening date hasn&#8217;t been picked.<\/p>\n<p>The 1,500-square-foot shop will be the chain&#8217;s eighth. It takes over the space once held by Brutique, which shut its doors in July after nine years, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/stpeterising.com\/home\/ice-cream-creamery-to-replace-brutique-on-the-600-block-in-downtown-st-pete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">St. Pete Rising<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Seven stores already operate in Pinellas County. Two sit on Clearwater Beach. The rest are in Madeira Beach, Dunedin, St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and Gulfport. The Gulfport shop, at 3119 Beach Blvd S, opened after plans for it were reported in May.<\/p>\n<p>The company says it makes its ice cream fresh in small batches with locally sourced ingredients. The new shop will carry 48 flavors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our ice cream is freshly made in small batches using the best locally sourced ingredients that Florida has to offer,&#8221; says the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iceandcream.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Ice &amp; Cream website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Most flavors are classics. Picks include butter pecan, rocky road, cookies and cream, and mint chip. Others are red velvet cake, salted caramel peanut, coconut almond fudge, chocolate fudge brownie, Stellar Coffee, pistachio, dulce de leche, and Dreamsicle, which swirls vanilla ice cream with orange sherbet.<\/p>\n<p>The menu also lists watermelon and red raspberry sorbets, key lime and rainbow sherbets, and dairy-free coconut milk ice cream. Gluten-free choices are on hand. So are sugar-free vanilla, chocolate, and mint chip.<\/p>\n<p>One scoop costs $4.97. Two scoops run $7.97, and three cost $11.97. Toppings are 97 cents each, and the list is long: Reese&#8217;s peanut butter cups, Oreos, Nutella, gummy bears, sliced strawberries, marshmallow fluff, and hot fudge.<\/p>\n<p>Hand-spun milkshakes cost $6.50. The shop also makes ice cream floats and Twisters, the chain&#8217;s take on a Dairy Queen Blizzard.<\/p>\n<p>Want updates?
