Engine 7 arrived on scene at 5:03 p.m. and found fire showing on the exterior of the home, according to JFRD. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The department said crews began an aggressive fire attack while Ladder 7 conducted an interior search. During the search, crews located an adult male, deceased, in the room where the fire appears to have originated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The fire was declared under control at 5:12 p.m. \u2014 approximately nine minutes after the first unit arrived on scene, according to JFRD. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The State Fire Marshal\u2019s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">\u201cThis is a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with this man\u2019s family tonight,\u201d said JFRD Director\/Fire Chief Percy Golden II. \u201cOur crews got there fast, fought hard, and did everything they could to reach a good outcome.
