\"MalcolmTALLAHASSEE, Fla. \u2014<\/p>\n

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a state of emergency for Treasure Coast and other counties after days of rain led to flooding.<\/p>\n

Indian River, Martin and St. Lucie counties were part of the governor\u2019s Executive Order 26-227 along with Brevard, DeSoto, Hardee and Highlands counties.<\/p>\n

The executive order provides state resources from the Division of Emergency Management to cope with the emergency, including any logistical, rescue or evacuation operations.<\/p>\n

State, regional and local agencies will be directed to assist the impacted counties. The executive order will expire in 60 days unless extended.<\/p>\n

Along with the governor, St. Lucie and Indian River counties along with the city of Port St. Lucie announced local states of emergencies on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
