But there\u2019s something important I want you to keep in mind\u2014our dry spell is holding strong, and The Weather Authority is keeping a close eye on it.<\/p>\n
The National Weather Service has officially placed our area under drought conditions. We\u2019ve missed out on rain, and there\u2019s no significant moisture in the forecast right now. That means it\u2019s the perfect time to check on your water use\u2014please be mindful with sprinklers and skip the backyard fire pit, even if the weather feels just right. With how dry it is, even a small flame could get out of hand quickly.<\/p>\n
Warming up above normal<\/p>\n
If you\u2019ve noticed mornings in the 40s (like we\u2019ve seen in Macclenny and Jacksonville), that\u2019s about to change. Temperatures are rebounding, and we\u2019re heading toward a much warmer stretch. Our typical high around this time is about 74 degrees, but we\u2019re looking at temperatures trending well above that heading into the weekend.<\/p>\n
The 7-day Exact Track 4D forecast shows afternoon highs climbing up to the upper 70s by Saturday, then right into the low 80s for Sunday and early next week. That\u2019s a big shift from the cool start to the week!<\/p>\n
