Here is a look at area boys\u2019 and girls\u2019 grapplers who have the potential to make many podium appearances in the 2025-2026 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>BOYS<\/p>\n<p>Raymi Robles, Croatan: The senior will wrestle at 113 again after he was 20-20 in the weight class and went 1-2 in the East Regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Davis Foxworth, Croatan: The senior will compete in 150 again after he ended 21-26 in the weight class and dropped both regional matches.<\/p>\n<p>Luke Padgett, Croatan: The junior will wrestle at 190 after he finished 39-11, placed third in the regionals and was 1-2 in the state tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Holmes, Croatan: The junior will contend at 215 after he was 21-12 at 175, going 1-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Porter Ingels, Croatan: The senior comes in at 285 after he was 33-14 at 215, going 4-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Dominic Avvisata, Dixon: The senior will compete at 144 again after he was 24-15 in the weight class, including 2-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper Lanier, Dixon: The senior will grapple at 215 again after he was 17-14 in the weight class, dropping both his regional matches.<\/p>\n<p>Parker Woolley, Dixon: The senior will wrestle at 285, looking to carry his football success onto the mat and find regional and state tournament success. He was the Onslow County Cup runner-up last year.<\/p>\n<p>Elijah Bailey, Jacksonville: The senior will compete at 144 after he was 21-11 at 138, going 3-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Berry, Jacksonville: The junior will wrestle at 215 again after he went 32-20 in the weight class, dropping both regional matches. He was also second in the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Gavin Costillo, Jacksonville: The junior looks for dre mat success at 132 third after he placed third at 138 in the Onslow County Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell Davis, Jacksonville: The senior will go at 144 after he ended 53-6 at 132, winning the East Regional title and going 3-2 to place fourth in the state championships. He also won the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Gardner, Jacksonville: The sophomore will grapple at 113 after he ended 28-13 at 106, emerging as the regional runner-up before dropping two matches in the state tournament. He also won the Onslow Cup title.<\/p>\n<p>Jake Geist, Jacksonville: The freshman is expected to compete at 106.<\/p>\n<p>Blake Moses, Jacksonville: The senior will move up at 190 after he finished 35-13 at 165, winning the East Regional title before going 1-2 in the state championships.<\/p>\n<p>Garrett Moses, Jacksonville: The sophomore moves to 120 after he went 41-22 at 133, going 3-2 in the regionals and being second in the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Brock Smith, Jacksonville: The senior jumps to 165 after he was 43-18 at 150, placing fourth in the regionals, going 1-2 in the state tournament and placing second in the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Marcus Cherry, Northside: The senior will wrestle at 175 and 190 after he was 38-18 at 190, going 2-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Camden Herron, Northside: The junior remains at 150 after ended 46-14, placed second in the regionals, went 1-2 in the state tournament and won the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Anoop Monroe, Northside: The junior stays at 165 after he ended 47-16, placed third in the regionals, was 1-2 in the state championships and won the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Jovanni Lamparelli, Richlands: The sophomore will compete at 120 after he ended 26-15 at 113, going 2-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Mason St. Denis, Richlands: The senior will wrestle at 132 after he competed at 126 last year.<\/p>\n<p>Joel Waddell, Richlands: The sophomore will compete at 138.<\/p>\n<p>Aaron Goodman, Swansboro: The junior will wrestle at 132 after he was 31-17 at 126, placing third in the Onslow County Cup and going 3-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Goodman, Swansboro: The junior will grapple at 138 after he went 27-21, including 1-2 at regionals, at 132.<\/p>\n<p>Justin Kowalcyzk, Swansboro: The junior will stay at 175 after he battled through injuries to go 14-10 , including 2-2 in regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Sheamus Mercer, Swansboro: The sophomore will grapple at 132 after he was 48-12 at 120, placing third in the regionals and going 1-2 in the state tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Darian Shelly, Swansboro: The junior will wrestle at 138 after he was 33-17 at 138, placing second in the Onslow County Cup and going 2-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>James Smith, Swansboro: The senior will grapple at 165 after he was 33-17 at 165, going 2-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Levi Vetter, Swansboro: The senior was will wrestle at 120 after he was 36-12 at 106, going 2-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Alexander, White Oak: The senior is back at 138 after he ended 31-16, including 3-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>James Campos, White Oak: The senior moves up to 144 after he was 57-7 at 132, placing third in the state championships, third in the regionals and winning the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Jacob Campos, White Oak: The junior jumps to 165 after he was 41-14, 2-2 in the regionals, at 150.<\/p>\n<p>Justin Campos, White Oak: The sophomore inches up to 113 after he was 36-14 at 106, winning the East Regional title and going 1-2 in the state tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Colten Lewis, White Oak: The senior jumps to 132 after he was 45-13 at 126, going 1-2 in the regionals and placing second in the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Hayden Smith, White Oak: The sophomore moves to 150 after he ended 53-8, won the East Regional title, finished as the state runner-up at 144 and also won the Onslow Cup.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>GIRLS<\/p>\n<p>Bella Johnson, Croatan: The sophomore will wrestle at 100 and 107 after she finished 32-7 at 100, placed second in the regional and went 2-2 in the state tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Kelli Faison, Croatan: The junior grapples at 138 after she went 15-15 at 165 last season.<\/p>\n<p>Alexis Tirado, Croatan: The sophomore competes at 145 again after she went 15-12, including 1-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Casey Dixon: Croatan: The sophomore wrestles at 152 again after she ended 20-17, going 1-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Macyn Whitley, Dixon: The senior competes at 132 after she went 25-11 at 126, including 3-2 in the regionals. She also won the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Peyton Smith, Jacksonville: The junior wrestles again at 107 after she was 32-14, including 2-2 in the regionals. She also won the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Aliava Brown, Richlands: The sophomore competes at 145 after she went 11-17 at 138.<\/p>\n<p>Emma Boychuck, Swansboro: The junior stays at 152 after she was 29-11, including 2-2 in the regionals. She was also second in the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Ryleigh Cline, Swansboro: The junior returns at 107 after she went 27-13, placing fourth in the regionals, going 2-3 in the state championships and ending second in the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Aydelynn Collins, Swansboro: The sophomore moved up to 138 after she was 29-15 at 132, going 2-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly McCarthy, Swansboro: The junior stays at 165 after she ended 29-12, won the Onslow County Cup and went 3-2 in the regionals.<\/p>\n<p>Mia Ramirez-Padilla, Swansboro: The freshman will compete at 114 after showing potential leading up to the season.<\/p>\n<p>Gabriella Reil, Swansboro: The junior continues at 235 after she went 28-10, going 3-2 in the regionals, and also placing second in the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Alaina Vee, Swansboro: The sophomore remains at 100 after she was 27-12, including 2-2 in the regionals, and ending second in the Onslow Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Adrianna Miller, White Oak: The junior competes at 120 after she went 22-6 at 114 while at Southwest.
