ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 After a week that started with record cold<\/a>, Central Floridians are finally getting a chance to thaw out<\/a> just in time for the weekend.<\/p>\n

Temperatures will feel much better for your Friday, with highs in the low to mid-70s. <\/p>\n

If you\u2019re heading to the beach with this warmer weather, be aware because there\u2019s a moderate rip current risk.<\/p>\n

Saturday-Thursday<\/p>\n

A ridge of high pressure settles over the area Saturday, keeping winds on the lighter side. <\/p>\n

Another weak front tries to move in on Monday, but it\u2019s not expected to bring rain and should fall apart over Central or South Florida by Tuesday. <\/p>\n

Temperatures & Fog<\/p>\n

Highs climb into the upper 70s and low 80s this weekend.<\/p>\n

Early next week, many inland spots will reach the low to mid-80s, with coastal areas hovering near 80.<\/p>\n

Dewpoints are slowly rising, too, which means patchy late-night and early-morning fog is possible into next week.<\/p>\n
